Previously, the draft federal budget for 2026-2028 allocated over 1 billion rubles in 2026 for free hot meals for elementary school students in state and municipal educational institutions.

Furthermore, the minister announced that 669.1 billion rubles are planned for the implementation of the state education development program in 2026, 719.5 billion rubles in 2027, and 806.9 billion rubles in 2028.
