Ivan Mironov, General Director of the Avtozavod St. Petersburg enterprise, told TASS that by July 1, 2024, the ten thousandth Xcite brand car should roll off the assembly line. It is possible to produce 72 cars per shift, which corresponds to three hours per car.
He notes that so far the cars are at different stages of assembly, but soon they will all be added to the automobile market. The plant can increase production to 50,000 units, but the demand is very low.
For three weeks it managed to sell only 300 cars, which are also a copy of a Chinese car. It is planned that the cars will be realized by selling them for the needs of state enterprises and to replenish the fleet of the government.
