At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, AvtoVAZ demonstrated several new products. One of them was Lada Aura in the corporate design for cabs - white body with a yellow stripe and classic black “checkers”. The business sedan has already entered retail sale in Russia at the end of 2024.
Also the attention of the public was attracted by a sporty modification of Lada Iskra. Black off-road prototype with racing elements received a reinforced 1.8-liter engine with an output of 173 hp, sports seats and a stiffening frame in the rear.
Lada Iskra is a new family of compact cars of class B. The lineup will include a sedan, station wagon and cross version. The model will be located in the lineup between Granta and Vesta, offering two versions of 1.6-liter engine (90 and 106 hp) and three types of transmission - five- and six-speed “mechanics” or variator.
All versions of Lada Iskra are equipped with stabilization systems and ABS, as well as two airbags as standard. The level of localization exceeds 90%. Serial production began in March, and the start of sales in dealerships is scheduled for July 20.
