The Geely Monjaro, which held the top spot in the first half of the year, fell to second place with 4,800 units sold. The Haval Jolion (3,600 units) came in third, followed by the Belgee X70 (3,300 units) and the Lada Granta (2,700 units).
Geely leads the brand rankings with 11,400 vehicles, displacing Haval (11,000 units), which held the top spot in the first half of the year. Belgee rose to third place with 8,200 units sold. Chery and Lada posted the same result (7,400 units). Sales of the remaining brands did not exceed 5,000 units.
In the first three quarters of 2025, a total of 110,800 new passenger cars were sold in Moscow, a 25% decrease compared to the same period last year. Experts note that the share of Chinese brands in the Moscow auto market was 62%, down 8% compared to last year.
It's worth noting that on September 30, Belgee introduced a new model to the Russian market – the S50 sedan. This car, based on the Geely Emgrand, is also produced at the Belgee plant in Belarus. The S50 is available in four trim levels, with prices ranging from 1.85 to 2.27 million rubles.
The Ministry of Transport reminded drivers that they must switch to winter tires by early December. Earlier, it was reported that Russian taxi companies had begun selling off their foreign cars en masse.
