Hyundai and Kia account for the largest number of stolen cars, accounting for 17% of all thefts. Lexus ranks second with a 14% share, followed by Lada with 11%. Toyota and Mitsubishi share fourth place (8% of thefts each). Mercedes-Benz rounds out the top five with 5.7%.
The most stolen vehicle is the Lexus LX SUV, which accounts for 8% of all thefts.
There has also been an increase in the popularity of Chinese brands. In 2024, their share was 3%, and in 2025 it increased to 8.5%. Chery and LIXIANG cars are the most frequently stolen, each accounting for 3% of all insurance claims.
In 2025, the highest number of thefts was recorded in Moscow (28%), St. Petersburg (20%), and Krasnodar Krai (11%).
