A functioning prototype of Arcturus with a distinctive Russian look, incorporating components manufactured in Russia and China, was presented at the show. The press service states that this prototype should become the basis for the creation of a new type of vehicle intended for use on public roads.
In addition, a design concept was shown to set new trends in styling and motivate engineers to expand the range of environmentally friendly models, taking into account the peculiarities of operation in Russia, user demands and increased requirements for durability.
Details on the technical parameters and capabilities of the battery pack have not been disclosed yet. Nevertheless, the Rus plant sees participation in the Moscow exhibition as a key initial stage on the way to serial production of Arcturus.
Meanwhile, the serial production of the new Mazda 6e electric car was launched, and a batch of 50 Russian Moskviches will be sent to Cuba.
