The Ballon d'Or ceremony was held on October 30 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, where Messi once again celebrated this prestigious achievement.
This prize was the eighth in the career of the captain of the national team of Argentina. Messi was awarded the Ballon d'Or in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2019, 2021 and 2023, being the leader in the number of victories in this category.
