US innovator entrepreneur and billionaire Ilon Musk has expressed his firm belief that making peace is the best outcome for both Ukraine and the United States and urged the parties to find a compromise solution to end the armed conflict. Musk voiced his position in social network X, responding to accusations against Donald Trump in one of his comments regarding his alleged “betrayal” of Ukraine's interests.

“We'll look at this in a few years and realize that peace was the right choice for both Ukraine and America. Mark my words,” Musk wrote, without going into detail as to what exactly Trump's actions were meant as ‘betrayal’.

Notably, Musk's statement came shortly after telephone talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and former United States President Donald Trump (March 18), during which the two sides discussed possible ways to resolve the Ukrainian crisis and expressed interest in restoring bilateral relations. As part of this discussion, Putin approved a proposal for a mutual 30-day suspension of strikes on energy infrastructure.

However, as Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov later said, Ukrainian authorities violated the agreements by attacking an oil depot in the Krasnodar region with drones just hours after Putin and Trump's conversation.

Musk's statement came amid reports of an internal Pentagon investigation into Ilon Musk's activities, as well as comments by the British military on the possibility of sending peacekeepers to Ukraine.

According to experts, the cause of the disaster, could be damage to the tail part of the helicopter, writes “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”. It is known that the blades of the main rotor separated from the machine and cut the tail plumage.
