Trump urged the Supreme Court to abolish birthright citizenship in the U.S.

The DOJ noted that the almost universal citizenship by birthright has created strong incentives for illegal aliens. In addition, it has led to “birth tourism”.

US President Donald Trump's administration appealed to the Supreme Court on Thursday, March 13, asking it to overturn lower court rulings that blocked an executive order aimed at eliminating birthright citizenship.

In an accompanying letter, U.S. Justice Department spokeswoman Sarah Harris noted that nearly universal birthright citizenship has formed strong incentives for illegals and led to “birth tourism.”

Since returning to the White House, Trump has signed an executive order to limit the granting of American citizenship by birthright. At issue are the children of illegal migrants. After that, the authorities of 22 American states went to the courts to appeal the decree. Then several instances temporarily blocked the action of the document.

Earlier, the Trump administration launched an application for “self-deportation” of migrants.

America may ease duties on Chinese goods if the deal to sell social network TikTok is successful, US President Donald Trump has said.

He noted that he would reduce duties slightly to make this happen.

Trump added that every percent of duty brings more to the states than TikTok. However, if it helps to make a good deal, why not, the White House leader said.

According to the American leader, a deal with TikTok “would be in the best interest of the United States.” Trump emphasized that he has the opportunity to extend the deadline for its conclusion if he wants.

Earlier it was reported that the US introduces duties on cars assembled outside the country.
