Russia and Belarus are launching new tourist routes, which should significantly increase the mutual tourist flow between the countries. In 2024, Belarus has already become one of the most popular destinations for Russian tourists. According to preliminary data, the tourist flow has almost doubled compared to 2023, when about 5 million Russians visited Belarus.
To support this growth, the first international tourist information center of the Union State will be opened in Smolensk region. It is also planned to launch new cross-border routes, including the historical and patriotic route “Nature of Memory - Memory of Nature,” which will pass through the specially protected natural area “Zapovednoe Poozerie.
Earlier, the leader of the neighboring country assured the public that he would do everything possible to transfer power to the new generation. The politician also said that Kiev was doing everything possible to drag the republic into open confrontation.
