In the run-up to the season, there is a staffing crisis in Bulgarian resorts. It is reported that 200,000 people are needed at the moment.

For example, in Sunny Beach alone, another 100,000 employees need to be recruited, according to profit.ro.

In an attempt to recruit staff, employers are looking for employees among foreigners. At the same time, the high demand of employers has led to a 10% increase in salaries in the industry, said Vesselin Nalbantov, vice-president of the Bulgarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants

Despite the increase in salaries it will be difficult for the hotel industry to recruit employees, he said. The fact is that the population of Bulgaria is shrinking.

Thus, about 3 million Bulgarians have emigrated in recent years, looking for a better life.

Earlier, the tourist told about the negative experience of traveling to Abkhazia. It was also reported about the tragic death of a Russian tourist in Abkhazia.
