New Zenit FC striker Luis Enrique spoke about his move to the club after playing for Brazil's FC Botafogo, where the player admits he had a great year.
Enrique says he knew Zenit's great desire to have him in their team and therefore was interested in the move, the club's press office said.
“When you are so interested, you are ready to give everything on the field to show the best result,” Enrique said.
The footballer discussed everything with his family and made the final decision. January 20, “Zenit” announced the transition of the Brazilian to a new club. The contract with Enrique is for four years and can be extended for a season.
According to Transfermarkt, the market value of the footballer is 22 million euros.
