According to the expert, this initiative is aimed at providing social support, not at stimulating the birth rate.

“I believe that the governor's decision is absolutely understandable and correct. Obviously, the payment of 100 thousand will not lead to the fact that schoolgirls will immediately start getting pregnant and giving birth. It is about supporting them in this situation,” - said Yuri Krupnov in a conversation with Radio KP.

He emphasized that the governor does not seek to increase the birth rate through this measure. It is solely about providing material support, which is necessary in such circumstances.

“It is interesting that a student of a technical school or university receives this money, but a schoolgirl does not. This is not a way to stimulate, but precisely social support,” the expert concluded.
