The problem of overloaded schoolchildren continues to be a pressing issue, says psychologist of “Online School No. 1” Kira Goldstein. In her opinion, a comprehensive approach is required to solve this problem.

In particular, she referred to a recent statement by Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma, who said that the State Duma had prepared proposals for the Education Development Strategy, including measures to balance the teaching load.

Goldstein emphasized the importance of organizing the schoolchildren's daily routine. She recommended parents to monitor the time of sleep and rest of their children, as well as to take into account the need to combine educational activities with periods for relaxation, nutrition and exercise.

In addition, it is important to reduce the number of extra classes, as excessive workload can be eliminated by eliminating some of the unnecessary courses, with a focus on quality completion of the remaining tasks.

Finally, Goldstein identified emotional support from the family as extremely important. Parents should listen attentively to their child if he or she complains of fatigue or learning difficulties and try to support him or her instead of criticizing. The psychologist recommended in a conversation with RIAMO parents to remember that children do not have to be perfect in everything. Care, attention and respect for their needs will help them successfully cope with learning and life difficulties.

The works were carried out in two stages. At the first stage, an additional building with an area of more than 3 thousand square meters was built. The second stage involved reconstruction of the main building, including repair of the facade, roof and all rooms. Engineering networks were also replaced, new windows and doors were installed, and the flooring was renewed. Video surveillance, public address systems, energy-efficient lighting, and partition walls were installed in the building.

The adjacent territory of the school was also landscaped: green plants were planted, lawns were laid out, a sports zone was created and small architectural forms were installed. All works comply with modern standards in the sphere of education and new approaches to the design and construction of educational facilities.

To ensure comfortable learning, the school has created specialized classrooms equipped with high-tech equipment, laboratories, an event hall, workshops, a media library and recreational areas. Access control, fire safety and evacuation control systems were installed in the institution. Facilities for people with disabilities have also been provided.
