Their occupancy rate is now constantly in the range of 80% to 100%, and supply is not keeping up with demand. Last year their number in the city increased from 178 to 183, and their total area is 50,000 square meters.
According to Kommersant, there are now 46 operators in the market, and their rotation reaches 35%, so it is impossible to call this sphere stable. Despite the growing demand, the prices for these services remain at approximately the same level. As a year ago, for each square meter it is necessary to pay from 800 to 2800 rubles per month. Usually rent a room with an area of 3-5 square meters. To reach the payback period for such a business in a successful coincidence of circumstances requires an average of 5-6 years.
