FGBU “North-West Department of Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring” made a weather forecast for September 3, according to which the air temperature in St. Petersburg will warm up to +27 degrees. The weather will be clear for most of the day, and the wind will be weak or moderate.

As forecasters note, this is due to the influence of the crest of the anticyclone, which is increasing in the northeast. It is because of it that the weather remains sunny and dry, and rains may be only brief. Normal temperature for this time of year is considered +20 degrees, and the current weather can be called abnormal.

Earlier it was reported that the Murmansk region has not had such a warm summer since 1936.

Due to the heat in early September in the Ulyanovsk region and other regions, the risk of natural fires has significantly increased.
