The press service of the Amur Region Ministry of Health reported that 19 people were injured in a traffic accident involving a bus and a refrigerated truck on the morning of October 26 near Blagoveshchensk. Five of them required hospitalization, and 14 will undergo outpatient treatment.
The authorities note that two people have already been discharged from intensive care and are in the trauma center, while another remains in the intensive care unit. The Ministry of Health added that there were two medics on the bus that was involved in the accident, who provided first aid to the victims before the ambulance arrived. The regional Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation concluded that the accident occurred because the bus crossed into oncoming traffic.
Earlier it was reported that seven people were injured in the Leningrad Region as a result of a collision between a bus and a Gazelle minibus.
In Moscow, on Karelian Boulevard, a VAZ driver crashed into a bus stop.
