The Novosibirsk Region Ministry of Health press service reported that on October 22, at approximately 10:00 a.m., an ambulance transporting a pregnant woman to a maternity hospital was involved in a traffic accident on a highway in the Krasnoozersky District. A second ambulance crew arrived at the scene and provided emergency medical assistance to the driver and paramedic, while the pregnant woman was taken to intensive care.
The injured workers sustained moderate injuries. Rostislav Zablotsky, head of the regional Ministry of Health, stated that paramedics assisted the woman in her delivery and that the baby was fine. The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate is investigating the circumstances of the accident.
The cassation court declined to reduce the sentence in a case involving the sale of children to foreigners.
