A Toyota Hiace minibus fell from a 12-meter height after driving off a hillside in Vladivostok. As a result of the tragic incident, a passenger of the minibus died and the driver was hospitalized, the Prosecutor's Office of Primorsky Krai reports.

“On November 21, in the afternoon, the driver of a Toyota Hiace vehicle for unclear reasons drove off a slope on Eagle Sopka located in the city center. After flying about 12 meters, the minibus fell and damaged parked cars. As a result of the accident, the passenger died, and the driver was sent to a medical center,” the official report says.

The prosecutor's office has taken control of the preliminary inspection. In the supervisory agency RIA Novosti added that the driver is currently in intensive care. An investigation is underway to find out whether he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

Earlier it was reported that a resident of Novokuznetsk came drunk to pass the license.

Also in Barnaul participants in the accident were a streetcar and a passenger bus.
