"There are people in Armenia and beyond who want to transfer the war to the territory of the country. The opposition is also trying to sow chaos among the population and the impression of powerlessness. All this is done in order to ensure their return as saviors. They want machine guns and criminal groups to throw the country into free fall," said Nikol Pashinyan.
The head of government noted that he would not allow these events, but not because "we hold on to power." "This cannot be allowed because a proud citizen of the Republic of Armenia does not want it. Our pride is amazed, but not destroyed, dignity is offended, but not dead," added Nikol Pashinyan.
In the situation with the signing of the agreement on Nagorno-Karabakh, "there was no other option," but it would also lead to the fact that it would become much worse. The Prime Minister emphasized that the forces calling for abandoning the November 9 treaty "do not put forward any alternative."
Nikol Pashinyan previously called for an increase in weapons production in Armenia. The emphasis should be placed not only on the number of weapons, the Armenian prime minister noted.
