China bought $1.1 million worth of ice cream from Russia

China bought five times more ice cream from Russia in January-March 2024 than in the same period of 2023.

For the first time China has become the main buyer of the Russian delicacy, RIA Novosti found out on the basis of data from the UN platform Comtrade and national statistical services.

In the first three months of this year, China bought $1.1 million worth of ice cream from Russia. It is followed by Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, which imported it for 984.8 thousand and 161.5 thousand dollars respectively.

Armenia and the United States, which bought sweets worth 92.2 and 75.8 thousand dollars, rounded out the top 5 fans of Russian ice cream. Israel, Georgia, Serbia and Azerbaijan were next.
