Ukrainian Interior Minister supports free development of Russian language in country

А. Avakov explained his position by the fact that Russian is the language of communication and culture of Ukraine, and many Ukrainian writers wrote in Russian.

Ukrainian Interior Minister Avakov said on his Facebook that he supports the free development of the Russian language in the country, as it is the language of communication and culture.

"Russian, Crimean Tatar, Romanian, Hungarian, Bulgarian and other languages used in the country are languages of communication and culture, family heritage, part of the rich cultural aura of Ukraine. These languages also belong to our citizens!" - Avakov noted.

According to him, Ukraine should also develop the Russian language, as many Ukrainian writers wrote their works in it.

Earlier Avakov suggested organizing the broadcasting of Ukrainian TV channels in Russian all over the world, as the Russian language culture belongs to Ukrainians to a considerable extent.
