The rocket launch from the spaceport at Kennedy Space Center was successful.
On Thursday, December 28, at 8:07 p.m. U.S. East Coast time, a Falcon Heavy launch vehicle carrying an unmanned X-37B reusable military spacecraft lifted off from a spaceport in Florida.
The launch was carried out by Elon Musk's company SpaceX and NASA.
X-37B belongs to the U.S. Space Force. The tasks of the flight of the spaceplane in this regard are classified. Note that the first launch of X-37B was held in April 2010. Yesterday's is already the seventh in a row.
The Falcon Heavy rocket was designed to launch the manned spacecraft Crew Dragon. But then Max said it would be used to deliver heavy satellites into Earth's orbit.
In September this year, SpaceX launched 13 military satellites into space in the interests of the Pentagon.
