Former U.S. President Donald Trump said the FBI, which is investigating the missing laptop of Hunter Biden, the son of White House chief Joe Biden, censored «embarrassing» information related to the case shortly before the 2020 election.
"It has just come to light that the FBI office that is 'investigating' Hunter Biden sent many censorship requests to keep all the bad information confidential just before the 2020 election," former U.S. President Donald Trump noted on Truth Social.
According to him, the FBI was making sure that Biden's son did not get a bad name.
Trump called such a situation an "outrageous disgrace," behind which are those who have previously accused him of involvement in the fraudulent presidential election and the storming of the Capitol by Republican supporters in January 2021.
Two years ago in October, shortly before the United States presidential election, the New York Post posted material based on correspondence allegedly found on Hunter Biden's laptop. The computer was found in a repair shop in Delaware. Its owner had copied the correspondence from the hard drive and it was given to Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor of New York and Trump's personal lawyer. The laptop was reportedly later seized by the FBI. The Daily Mail wrote that the images found on the laptop could indicate Hunter Biden's involvement in criminal activities in drug trafficking and prostitution.
