Georgian MPs support a ban on pyrotechnics

The ban affects the import, storage, sale and use of pyrotechnics, except for those that are allowed to be used in enclosed spaces.

The other day opposition MPs from the party "Lelo" Armaz Ahvlediani and Anna Natsvlishvili proposed to introduce in the Parliament of Georgia a bill "On Prohibition of Pyrotechnics". It is reported by IPN.

For example, the authors of the bill propose to ban the import, sale, storage and use of pyrotechnics, which can not be used in confined spaces. The use of other categories of pyrotechnics will be regulated by the Government of Georgia by special permission.

Those who continue using pyrotechnics illegally will be fined 1,000 GEL for individuals and 5,000 GEL for legal entities.
