British residents are trying to save money amid the energy crisis.
The Guardian newspaper, citing data from energy companies, writes that British residents have reduced consumption of electricity and gas by almost 10% in recent weeks.
At the same time, the company E.ON recorded a decrease in energy consumption in the country in recent weeks from 10% to 15%, and the head of Telecom Plus Andrew Lindsey said that in October the decline in gas consumption was 10%.
The British, according to the energy companies, will continue to save money amid the crisis.
Earlier, British Finance Minister Jeremy Hunt urged residents to reduce electricity consumption by 15% to overcome the energy crisis.
