Israel plans to start accepting tourists vaccinated with Sputnik V from November 15

Israeli Minister of Tourism Yoel Razvozov suggested that tourists vaccinated with the Russian «Sputnik V» be allowed to enter the country. The initiative was approved by the Israeli government.

The Israelis plan to let the tourists vaccinated with the Russian vaccine from November 15, 2021. The initiative was approved during a government meeting headed by Prime Minister Naftali Bennett.

The decision on the admission of tourists vaccinated by "Sputnik V" will still be made in the Cabinet. If the initiative is approved, then from November 15, Israel will begin to let citizens vaccinated with the second component no later than six months before arrival.

Upon arrival in Israel, tourists will have to pass a second PCR test and undergo a serological test. From November 1, tourists from all over the world who were vaccinated with WHO-approved vaccines: two doses of Pfizer and BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Sinovac, Sinopharm no more than six months ago, as well as one component of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine no more than two weeks ago.
