Japanese matcha tea recognized as source of longevity

Scientists have found out the reason for a long life expectancy in Japan.

It turned out that tea ceremonies help residents of this country to fight aging. In particular, numerous useful properties of matcha tea were found.

A British popular publication published the results of a study according to which Japan's traditional drink can lower cholesterol and sugar levels, strengthen immunity, prevent the risks of developing oncology and combat obesity. Tea contains many vitamins - A, B, C, E, as well as minerals - zinc, potassium, calcium, sodium and iron. Not only do the Japanese drink the matcha, but they also use it as a food additive for various desserts, as well as for soba noodles.
