In the suburbs of Berlin, there will be a city without cars. It will be built south of the capital of Germany and called Buckower Felder.
It is assumed that 16 hectares are reserved for an environmentally friendly city. There will be no infrastructure for cars on this square, Die Welt writes.
Buckower Felder will have 40 houses, each of which will have many apartments. Trees will be planted near the buildings.
The city according to the project will be highly ecological. A heat supply system will be installed there, which releases a minimum amount of carbon dioxide.
Pedestrians will move along avenues, lovers of an active lifestyle - along bike paths. If someone still has a car, they will have to put it in a garage on the outskirts.
