According to Mysl Polska, the crisis in Poland's energy sector was provoked by the country's authorities. According to the authors of the article, the government tried so hard to outsmart Putin that it led the Polish energy sector to serious problems.

"We prevented the possibility of blackmailing us with an energy crisis. Namely, we arranged it ourselves," the authors stated.

It is noted that Poland has consistently rejected the use of coal for environmental reasons, and after that declared the cessation of energy imports from Russia.

In addition, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki was accused of being "obsessed" with Vladimir Putin, as most of the statements of the prime minister are directly linked to the Russian president.

The article also reported that collecting firewood for heating would be the most likely occupation for Poles in the worst-case scenario.
