Biden: in United States, vaccination against coronavirus will begin in late December

On Thanksgiving Eve, US presidential candidate Joe Biden announced the timing of the start of vaccination of the country's population against coronavirus.

The fact that the first vaccinations may begin in December, Biden said during a televised address to citizens on November 25 on CNN. He announced the serious successes that have been made in the development of the vaccine. "Some of them have shown very high efficiency, and we are on the way to the fact that the first cases of immunization may occur in late December - early January," said Joe Biden.

In the meantime, Biden advises citizens to rally and show a "patriotic duty" - to wear masks, to keep a distance, since so far these are the most effective means.

From the first days of his reign, Biden promises to "reverse the current situation." More tests will be carried out, more protective equipment will be sent to schools and enterprises, and more clear rules will be established in the country. But Biden recalls that alone, the federal government cannot cope, and the responsibility for saving lives must be borne by all together.

And first of all, he urged US citizens to abandon the traditional celebration of Thanksgiving, not to gather in large companies and stay at home on this day. He himself plans to celebrate the holiday at his home in Wilmington.
