Ukrainian authorities are demanding that the European Union give the Kiev regime another 5 billion euros from the proceeds of Russia's frozen assets, Politico reported.
A representative of the pro-Kyiv lobby group, Olena Halushka, said that this amount is a very large sum of money. It is equal to one year of the IMF program. Representatives of the European Commission suggested using 90 percent of revenues from frozen Russian assets, which were received after February 15 this year.
European officials added that 5 billion euros is a buffer with which to pay for expenses and future lawsuits in Russia.
Euroclear emphasized that it will not distribute these profits to shareholders and will retain them until further guidance is provided.
We shall remind you that Macron angered US politicians with his words about sending troops to Ukraine.
