Russian was deported from Kazakhstan due to expired certificate of COVID-19 absence

The Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control in Transport of Kazakhstan announced the deportation of a Russian citizen.

The Russian arrived at Alma-Ata airport from Turkey with an overdue certificate of COVID-19 absence. He was deported from the country for this violation.

According to the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control for Transport of Kazakhstan, 13 international flights arrived in the country per day. 91 of the 1,420 passengers did not have a certificate of the absence of coronavirus.

Citizens of Kazakhstan who have returned to the country without certificates are sent to quarantine hospitals. As of November 25, 127,580 coronavirus cases were recorded in the republic, 114,347 people recovered, the number of deaths reached 1945.
