The draft resolution was released on Thursday, 25 January.
Former US President Donald Trump will be declared the Republican Party's candidate for the head of state election after winning the past primaries in New Hampshire. The corresponding draft resolution has already been prepared by the National Committee of the party.
The National Committee said that the Republican Party is moving into full-fledged general election mode from now on.
"Resolved, that the National Committee hereby declares Donald Trump as our candidate for President of the United States in 2024 and from this point forward goes into full-fledged general election mode, welcoming supporters of all candidates as valued members of the Trump team for 2024," the document reads.
The draft resolution will be considered at next week's Republican caucus. The meeting will be held in Las Vegas.
Earlier, Trump said that he considers as Vice-President Senator from South Carolina Tim Scott.
Recall, the next elections of the President of the United States will be held in November 2024.
