Hospitals in the Netherlands are facing a shortage of beds for COVID-19 patients and have begun to send them to the German Federal Republic for treatment. The first such patients were sent from Rotterdam to German Bochum on Tuesday. This is reported by The Guardian.

The index of occupancy of hospitals in the Netherlands has reached its maximum since May this year. Many medical facilities in the state are reducing the number of beds for patients with cancer and cardiovascular ailments by adding beds for coronavirus treatment.

On Nov. 22, more than 23,000 new cases were detected in the Netherlands, where the incidence of covid is increasing, nearly 1,500 more than the average number of new cases in the past 7 days.
