Eavesdropping devices found in early May in the room where a Polish government meeting was to be held turned out to be a line for negotiations.

The Internal Security Agency noted that there were no indications that the installation had been used for unauthorized data collection. It confirmed earlier information that the old system was used for remote communication.

Polish Cabinet meetings are usually held in Warsaw. However, on May 7, it was decided to hold it in Katowice, as an economic forum was held there, attended by Prime Minister Donald Tusk and other members of the government, RMF FM radio station reported.

Before the meeting, a spokesman for the minister-coordinator of the intelligence services, Jacek Dobrzyński, said that eavesdropping devices had been discovered and dismantled in the building.

Earlier, Tusk said that nine people were arrested in Poland for sabotage ordered by Russia.
