The White House refused to comment on the decision of Ilon Musk to unblock the Twitter account of former U.S. President Donald Trump. This was stated by Washington administration spokeswoman Karin Jean-Pierre during a briefing.

"We simply will not comment on Twitter's business practices. The former president has said he's not going to go back to Twitter. I simply will not comment further," the White House spokeswoman said.

Recall, Donald Trump's Twitter account was blocked on January 8, 2021. Businessman Ilon Musk, who bought the social network, the other day restored the account of the former president of the United States, launching a poll before that. Trump said he has no plans to return to Twitter because he has his own social network.
