85 billion cubic meters of gas was discovered by the Fatih research vessel in the Black Sea region of Turkey.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made a statement from a ship that the extraction of a natural resource will begin in 2023. He reminded that in August the largest gas field in the Black Sea was discovered.
A team of Fatih scientists discovered deposits of 320 billion cubic meters of gas. With such reserves, Turkey can do without third-party fuel supplies to the country.
