Russia has released ten foreigners captured during a special operation in Ukraine mediated by Saudi Arabia's Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Reuters has reported, citing a royal official. The Saudi Foreign Ministry confirmed this fact by posting a message on Twitter.
Among those released are citizens of Morocco, Sweden, Croatia, two Americans and five Britons. The plane with the freed prisoners, according to the agency, arrived in the kingdom.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry said in a statement that it was grateful to Russia and Ukraine for their cooperation with Prince Bin Salman in freeing the prisoners of war.
