At a briefing on Tuesday, 20 February, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced that US President Joe Biden would hold talks with the leaders of other G7 countries and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

She specified that the topic of the conference would be the situation in Ukraine and Western countries' support for Kiev.

Biden, according to Karine Jean-Pierre, continues to push the US House of Representatives for additional financial assistance to Ukraine.

Earlier, Pentagon deputy spokeswoman Sabrina Singh said that the Ukrainian army would have to decide which cities they could hold without renewed assistance from Washington.

Zelenskyy refuses to consider the USA a strategic partner if it refuses to provide assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
