Spanish autonomous region of Navarra closes its borders

The Madrid autonomy government have already taken such restrictive measures, the introduction of checkpoints at the entrance and exit from the region.

On October 9, entry and exit from the capital of Spain and nine more cities of autonomy of Madrid are limited. Such measures have now been decided in the autonomous community of Navarra.

The increase in the coronavirus incidence in Spain is still high.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, more than 25 thousand cases have been identified in the autonomous region of Navarra. At the same time, the population of the region is 650 thousand people.

Borders in the region will be closed from October 22 to November 4. Checkpoints will be installed on the main roads. In addition to the restriction on entry, restaurants and cafes will be closed in Navarra.
