Since September 19, the Baltic neighbors of Finland - Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia are closing their territories to Russian citizens.
Finland is now the only EU member state where Russians can visit with a Schengen visa.
Representatives of the Finnish Foreign Ministry commented on the decision to leave the country's borders open for Russians. Ban on the entry of tourists without a legal reason can be seen as a violation of the principles of the rule of law. In addition, the ban, based on nationality, is a manifestation of discrimination, officials said.
