Five hundred protesters were arrested by police.

Jewish Voice for Peace estimates that 10,000 people took part in anti-war protests in Washington. They demanded an end to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the genocide of Palestinians.

Police arrested 500 protesters.

"Today, 500 Jews were arrested and 10,000 took to the streets to demand a ceasefire and an end to the genocide of Palestinians," Jewish Voice for peace wrote on social network X.

A large group of activists involved in protests against the fighting in Gaza managed to break into a U.S. Congressional building. Later, Capitol Police began detaining them and taking them away on buses.
