Germany is preparing a reform of its citizenship system.
In his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that the country needs labor force from abroad. According to him, the authorities are preparing a reform of the German citizenship system.
"If we want to remain a competitive industrial country, skilled engineers, mechanics and mechanical engineers are needed there," he explained.
Earlier it became known that the German authorities introduced a special measure for obtaining a German visa for Russian citizens. As it follows from the statement published on the official site of the visa center of Germany, the Russians are required to provide an extract from the bank functioning in the states of the European Union.
This innovation has reduced to a minimum the possibility of obtaining a German visa by Russian citizens.
