The ambassador has already said goodbye to the staff of the diplomatic mission and left.
French Ambassador to Belarus Nicolas de Bouillant de Lacoste left the country at the request of Minsk. This was reported by the agency France-Press, citing official sources.
It is reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus demanded from the French ambassador to leave the country by October 18. A source at the diplomatic mission added that the French diplomat has already said goodbye to the embassy staff and flew out of Belarus on Sunday, October 17.
At the same time the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus did not give any reasons for such a request. The French diplomatic mission added that statements in this regard would be made on Monday, 18 October.
