Emmanuel Macron published in his TikTok account a funny video from the G7 summit to the Russian-language song “Capybara”. The video with world leaders walking in the background of the track by a Russian singer surprised social media users.
Emmanuel Macron's official TikTok account surprised subscribers with an unusual video from the G7 summit. Instead of the traditional official chronicle, the French president published footage of the G7 leaders walking in front of the camera to the catchy Russian-language song “Capybara” by Alexei Pluzhnikov.
This unexpected musical choice sparked a wave of discussion on social networks, with users wondering whether it was a deliberate gesture or an accident.
Meanwhile, the Russian Foreign Ministry harshly criticized the last summit: spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that the G7 has turned into a useless club, unable to solve real world problems, writes ria.ru.
The summit was held in Kananaskis, Canada, from June 16 to 17 with the participation of the leaders of the seven leading countries and representatives of the EU. Macron's ironic video seems to have been the only bright moment of this meeting, which, according to many analysts, brought no significant results.
