According to the publication Focus, the authors of which refer to the data of the information system Crif, in Germany 300 thousand companies are at risk of bankruptcy. Nearly one in 10 companies in Germany is facing serious financial problems.

"High energy costs, existing supply chain problems and inflation are creating challenges for many companies," explained Frank Schlein, managing director of Crif Germany.

In November the number of enterprises on the verge of bankruptcy increased by 15.6 percent compared to March of the same year, according to the authors of the material.

German citizens chose to save money against the background of the crisis, which also had a negative impact on companies in the country.

The Crif data says that by the end of 2022 14.5 thousand German enterprises will be bankrupt, but in the next year 17 thousand may go bankrupt.

Currently, the European Union is faced with an energy crisis, provoking inflation and rising energy costs.
