U.S. Attorney General declined to answer reporters' questions on Epstein case

FBI head Cash Patel wants Bondi's resignation amid their disagreement over the Epstein case. Patel allegedly won't rule out stepping down.

Attorney General and head of the U.S. Department of Justice Pam Bondi refused to answer questions from the media about her agency's position on the accused of sexual exploitation of minors financier Jeffrey Epstein. Among Americans, pressure on the Minister is growing, citizens are calling for the public disclosure of the case file.

Earlier, the American press reported that the head of the FBI Cash Patel wants Bondi's resignation amid their disagreements over the Epstein case. Patel allegedly did not rule out stepping down.

At a press conference that focused on the fight against drug trafficking in the U.S., Bondi said in response to a reporter's question that she would not talk about Epstein.

The attorney general, amid calls for her resignation, said she would remain in her post “as long as the president wants her here.”

It was previously reported that one minute was missing from a surveillance tape taken from Epstein's jail cell.
