China has suspended the release of youth unemployment data a month after the rate hit a record high, MarketWatch reported.
Fu Linghui, a representative of the National Bureau of Statistics, said that statistical work needs improvement, and the economy and society are changing and developing.
According to June data, the urban unemployment rate reached 21.3 percent among young people aged 16-24. The registered unemployment rate among all categories was 5.3%.
