Poll: Biden ahead of Trump 20 days before US presidential election

Now the representative of the Democratic Party has set a new record for the difference in support between him and the current president. The reason for this could be a number of events, such as the death of the Supreme Judge.

Joe Biden, a former vice president and member of the Democratic Party, has widened the gap with incumbent President and Republican Donald Trump, according to The Guardian, citing Opinium Research.

According to data obtained during a population poll, 57% of voters are ready to vote for Biden, while 40% for Trump. At the same time, the Democrat has such large numbers for the first time in all the time of the confrontation with Trump, previously fewer people preferred him.

The Guardian believes that the reason for this result was the actions of both parties when Supreme Justice Ruth Ginsburg died, the failed debate between Biden and Trump, as well as the coronavirus infection of Trump.
